The Aura Pro Hybrid takes Friday Pickleball's stiffer, more aggressive Gen 4 foam platform and drops it into a hybrid shape, a blend of reach and manoeuvrability that's quicker to the ball and easier to swing than the elongated. A T700 raw carbon face delivers high surface roughness for spin, and the ElasTECH rubber perimeter system adds stability without making the paddle feel dead. How it plays

Friday describe the Aura Pro as loud, poppy and explosive, built to drive hard, counter fast and finish points. Underneath that pitch is a fully floating EPP foam core wrapped in their patent-pending ElasTECH internal perimeter weighting system, surrounded by EVA foam and double-thermoformed for durability. The claims are Friday's, but the construction explains the character: the perimeter weighting is what lets a foam paddle hit this hard while keeping the sweet spot honest toward the edges, and the raw T700 face is where the spin lives, testing at 2,290 RPM. The hybrid is the shape we would point most Aura Pro buyers at. You give up a little reach against the elongated version, and in return the twist weight climbs to 6.35, so off-centre blocks and counters stay in play more often in fast doubles exchanges. Same swing weight of 116, same power intent, just a wider margin for error. It is USAP certified at PBCoR .43 for tournament play. If your game leans on touch and placement instead, the standard Aura Hybrid is the control half of the family.
