The current range is built around one idea. A raw carbon face generates spin through friction, and friction wears the surface flat. The Endurance Surface treatment is Honolulu's answer to that, and it is why the brand keeps coming up in conversations about paddles that still bite after a year.

The J2CR Regular Handle is the control paddle in the range. Plush through the ball, holding it a beat longer through resets and dinks, and forgiving enough that an off-centre contact does not immediately become a pop-up. If you play doubles and your points are decided at the kitchen line, this is the one.

The J2CR Extended Handle is the same paddle with a longer grip. Take it if you hit a two-handed backhand, or if you have big hands and the standard handle feels cramped. The trade is a slightly shorter head, so there is fractionally less face to work with.

The J6CR is the elongated cousin. More reach at the baseline, more pop on the third-shot drive, and a higher swing weight. There is less margin off-centre, so it rewards a player who reliably finds the middle of the face.

Regular or extended handle

This is the decision people regret, not the shape one. Measure it against how you actually play rather than how you would like to. A two-handed backhand needs the room, and if you have ever felt your bottom hand run out of grip, extended is the answer. If you play everything one-handed, the regular handle gives you a little more paddle face and a slightly lower swing weight, and it is the more forgiving buy.
