Where to start in the Pro V range

Start with the shape. The Scorpeus Pro V (Collin Johns) is the widebody with the biggest sweet spot and our usual answer for doubles players who lose hands battles at the kitchen. The Kosmos Pro V (Federico Staksrud) is the hybrid: most of the forgiveness, some of the reach, the honest pick if you cannot decide. The Agassi Pro V pairs the elongated face with a longer handle that tennis converts like. All three are $469.

Also at $469: the Hyperion Pro V, the rounded elongated shape for quicker hands, and the Scorpeus Pro V (Anna Bright), the same widebody in her spec. The Perseus Pro V (Ben Johns) is the flagship and the one everyone asks for. The Graf Pro V is the Agassi shape with a narrower 4.125 in grip for smaller hands, and the Kosmos Pro V Rally Rocket ($479.95) is the Kosmos in JOOLA's limited-edition Pops design.

Which Pro V? Pick by shape, not by who signs it. Widebody (Scorpeus) for forgiveness at the line, elongated (Hyperion, Agassi, Perseus) for reach and drive, hybrid (Kosmos) for both. The Pro V buying guide walks through each shape.

14mm or 16mm? Every JOOLA paddle we carry is 16mm: longer dwell on the face, softer resets and third-shot drops, the safer buy for most club players. A 14mm core plays stiffer and quicker off the face, for players who already win with pace.

What does a JOOLA cost? $469 for a Pro V ($479.95 for the Rally Rocket), $289.95 for the Perseus Power FX, and from $159.95 for the Vision paddles. Grey imports can look cheaper, but JOOLA will not assess an overseas-bought paddle here if the face delaminates.

What is KineticFrame on the Pro V paddles?

It is JOOLA's patent-pending flex point built into the throat of every Pro V. JOOLA says it flexes to store momentum on a drive and releases it on contact, and absorbs pace on a block, so the throat reads slimmer than the head.

What is the difference between the two Scorpeus Pro V paddles?

Only the grip. Both are the same widebody shape at a 16mm core and the same 8.2 oz (JOOLA's figure). Anna Bright's has a slimmer 4.125 in grip, Collin Johns' a wider 4.25 in grip for larger hands.

Is the Perseus Power FX a Pro V?

No. It is JOOLA's first full-foam paddle: EPP foam built around JOOLA's propulsion core, which JOOLA extended for this paddle, in the 16mm Perseus shape with a higher-grit face. At $289.95 it costs less than a Pro V at $469.00. It is on pre-order with us, so the product page carries the current arrival date.

Is there a cheaper JOOLA paddle?

Yes. The Perseus Heat Vision ($159.95) and the Hyperion Double Vision ($199.95) are both 16mm paddles that JOOLA lists as USA Pickleball PBCoR .43 certified for tournament play. They give you the JOOLA shapes without the Pro V price.

What warranty does a JOOLA paddle carry in Australia?

JOOLA Australia covers paddles for six months against manufacturing defects such as delamination or structural failure. Register the paddle in the JOOLA Infinity app within 14 days of purchase and it extends to 12 months; that cannot be backdated. Scrapes, cosmetic wear and damage from hitting the ground are not covered. Buy from an authorised stockist like us and the claim comes back to Ben or Chris first.
