How it plays

JOOLA describes the core as a longer diving board: it bends further, launches higher and hands the energy back to the ball. In practice that means drives and put-aways come off the face with less effort, and the extra dwell from the foam gives you a moment longer on the ball when you want to shape a drop or a reset. The textured face grabs the ball on topspin drives and rolls, so you get real spin alongside the pop of a foam build. The sweet spot is noticeably larger than a traditional polymer core, which keeps off-centre hits honest when the pace picks up at the kitchen line.

Who it suits

This is a power paddle for intermediate and advanced players who like to dictate from the back of the court. The elongated shape rewards a full swing on serves, returns and drives, and gives you extra reach on wide balls. It asks a little more of your hand speed in fast exchanges than a widebody does, which is the trade every elongated paddle makes.
