Overview
The Hyperion Pro V is Ben Johns' paddle shape — and has been for most of his professional career. It shares the elongated 16.5-inch dimensions of the Perseus but uses a rounded head rather than a flat top, which shifts weight fractionally toward the handle and makes the paddle feel livelier and easier to reset with at pace. Add the Gen 5 KineticFrame throat and a 16 mm Honeycomb Propulsion core, and you have a paddle that covers every part of the court without feeling heavy or sluggish.

The Hyperion has been his shape of choice through most of that career, and the Pro V is its Gen 5 evolution.
