Pickleball Paddle Delivery Australia-Wide
Pickleball Paddle Delivery Across Australia
Where does Pickld ship? Everywhere in Australia. How fast? Sydney metro 1-2 business days, most capitals 2-4, Perth and Darwin 5-7. Free over $150, $9.99 flat under that, $19.99 for bulky items. This page is the full delivery reference — how long it takes to every state, what it costs, how we pack it, and what to expect if you're regional, remote, or on an island.
Everything ships from our warehouse at 101 Excelsior Rd, Mount Colah NSW 2079. Nothing dropships from the US or China. If it's on pickld.com.au, it's sitting in Sydney waiting to be packed by Ben or Chris.
How long does delivery take to your city
Real transit times we see across the couriers we use — Australia Post eParcel for standard paddles and gear, plus dedicated couriers for bulky items. These are typical windows for standard delivery; Express Post shaves 1-2 days off most routes and is available at checkout.
| Destination | Standard delivery (business days) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sydney metro | 1-2 days | Often next-day. Local pickup at Mt Colah also available. |
| Regional NSW | 2-4 days | Northern Rivers, Central Coast, Wollongong, Newcastle, Blue Mountains. |
| Melbourne metro | 2-3 days | Reliable via AusPost Sydney-Melbourne overnight lane. |
| Regional VIC | 3-5 days | Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Mornington Peninsula. |
| Brisbane metro | 2-4 days | South-east Queensland including Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. |
| Regional QLD | 4-7 days | Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, Cairns. |
| Remote QLD | 7-10+ days | Far North, Cape York, Weipa, Thursday Island. |
| Adelaide metro | 3-4 days | Direct AusPost route. |
| Regional SA | 4-7 days | Barossa, Fleurieu, Riverland, Whyalla. |
| Canberra ACT | 2-3 days | Close to Sydney lane. |
| Perth metro | 5-7 days (standard), 3-4 (Express) | Express Post next-business-day covers Perth CBD only. |
| Regional WA | 7-10 days | Bunbury, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Broome. |
| Remote WA | 10-14 days | Pilbara, Kimberley, mining towns. |
| Hobart TAS | 4-6 days | Bass Strait ferry adds a day or two. |
| Regional TAS | 5-8 days | Launceston, Devonport, west coast. |
| Darwin NT | 5-7 days | Alice Springs and remote NT can run 7-10. |
| Remote NT | 9-15 days | Katherine, Tennant Creek, remote communities. |
| Islands (King, Flinders, Norfolk, Christmas) | 8-14 days | Depends on ferry / freight schedules. |
These are typical windows, not guarantees. AusPost occasionally has weather delays or peak-season congestion, and we'll always show you a tracking number so you can watch it move in real time. If a parcel is running significantly late, email us on support@pickld.com.au.
What delivery costs
Three rates. That's the whole system.
- Free over $150 — orders $150+ ship at no charge Australia-wide.
- $9.99 flat under $150 — a set of balls, a grip, an overgrip, a single small accessory. Same rate to Sydney or Broome.
- $19.99 flat for bulky items — ball machines and the JOOLA Elemental Net go on a bulky courier profile. This rate applies regardless of order total.
Bulky-item shipping is subsidised. Actual courier costs on a ball machine to Perth or Darwin run well past $19.99 — Pickld absorbs the difference because we'd rather quote a flat rate you can trust than surprise you at checkout.
Same-day dispatch before 2pm AEST
Order before 2pm AEST on a business day (Monday to Friday), and your paddle is packed and lodged with the courier that afternoon. Not "we'll get to it next week" — packed the same day, scanned by AusPost or the courier before end of business.
Orders placed after 2pm, on a weekend, or on a NSW public holiday go out the next business day.
The dispatch cutoff is real and we hold ourselves to it. If you're on a deadline (a tournament next weekend, a gift for Sunday), email us at support@pickld.com.au when you order — we'll flag it for priority packing and pick Express Post if it'll make the difference.
How we pack it
A paddle is a $200-$500 piece of engineered carbon fibre, foam, and edge tape. It doesn't like being tossed around a sortation belt in shrink wrap.
- Paddles — wrapped in bubble wrap or foam sleeve, then boxed in a rigid corrugated mailer sized to the paddle.
- Multiple paddles — packed together in a larger box with dividers so they can't rub or knock against each other in transit.
- Balls — factory tubes go straight into a padded satchel.
- Bags — folded and boxed with the paddles they're paired with if it's a combo order.
- Ball machines — strapped and padded in the manufacturer carton, then over-boxed for freight.
- Nets — folded to spec, boxed for freight, wheels and frame protected.
If a parcel arrives damaged, photograph it before opening and email us — we'll replace or refund immediately.
Buying locally? We've written city-specific guides
The delivery times above are national averages. If you want the local read — venues, courts, community, pickup options — we've written a page for each major city:
- Buying pickleball paddles in Sydney — local pickup at Mt Colah, SUNS Pickleball, Sydney court map.
- Buying pickleball paddles in Melbourne — 2-3 day delivery from Sydney, Melbourne pickleball scene.
- Buying pickleball paddles in Brisbane — SEQ delivery, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast context.
- Buying pickleball paddles in Perth — WA-specific delivery windows and Express Post options.
Regional, remote, and island postcodes — the honest version
Australia is big and freight is uneven. If you're in Alice Springs, Broome, Cape York, King Island, or a remote WA mining town, standard delivery windows are longer and there's not much anyone can do about that — AusPost and the couriers subcontract to smaller regional carriers for the last leg.
What we do:
- Same $9.99 flat rate (or free over $150). Remote surcharges come out of our margin, not yours.
- Express Post where the AusPost Express Post network reaches.
- Tracking every order.
- Honest ETAs. If you're in a postcode where a ball machine is going to take 10 business days, we'll email you that ETA at dispatch.
Warranty and returns, Australia-wide
Warranty and returns work the same whether you're in Bondi or Broome. Every paddle carries the manufacturer warranty for the standard period. Pickld handles claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
Change of mind returns: 30 days from delivery, paddle unused with original packaging. Return shipping is on us. Applies from Perth to Cairns and everywhere between.
Full terms live at our refund policy. If something's gone wrong with a paddle you've been playing with, email support@pickld.com.au with photos and your order number.
