Pickleball gifts are easy to get wrong, because the thing players care about most, the paddle, is the most personal. So this collection works the other way round: things that get used whatever someone plays with, then paddles that are hard to be wrong about. Most of it is in stock in Sydney, and anything on pre-order says so on its product page. If you are not sure what they need, a Pickld gift card lets them choose.

Pickleball gifts by budget

Under $50: overgrips, paddle covers, weighted clips, the Flick Stick wrist trainer and balls. The full list is in pickleball gifts under $50, and it is the safest place to start if you do not know their gear.
$99 to $200: a proper paddle that is easy to be right about, such as the Six Zero Quartz at $99 or the Luzz Glider at $159. Our beginner pickleball paddles are the ones to look at for someone new to the game.
$200 to $350: paddles for people who already play well and know what they like. Here a gift card is often the better present than a guess.
Sets and nets: for a couple, a family or a driveway. See pickleball sets, the pickleball set with net range and pickleball nets.
Bags: a backpack, duffle or paddle case, all in pickleball bags. A safe present, because a bag suits whatever paddle they play.
No idea at all: a Pickld gift card, from $25 to $150.

Buying a paddle for someone else

Shape, swing weight and handle length are personal, and a paddle in the wrong shape tends to get used twice. If you do go for a paddle, a hybrid shape is the middle option between widebody and elongated, so it is the least risky to choose for somebody else. Our paddle finder narrows it down in a few questions, and the pickleball gift ideas guide goes through who each pick suits.

What to buy someone who already has a paddle

A grip, a cover, a pack of balls or a little weight. These are the things players use up or forget to replace, which makes them good gifts and poor self-purchases. A pack of three FlexTac overgrips is $12, and a Pickleball Labs paddle cover is $19.95.

Delivery and returns

Free shipping on Australian orders over $150, excluding bulky items such as nets and 100-ball boxes, which are charged freight. Order by 12pm Sydney time, Monday to Friday, and in-stock items ship that day. If it is not right, returns are open for 30 days from the day you receive it. For Christmas, order early: couriers get busy in the last fortnight of the year, and we would rather you had it in your hands in good time.
