Luzz Pro 4 Tornazo Pickleball Paddle

The Pro 4 Tornazo is the first pickleball paddle built with PEBAZ™ (Luzz's custom adaptation of PEBA, the super-foam from elite running shoes) in a dual-layer elastic core. The outer power ring adds explosive pop while the inner zone tightens control, and uniform core density stretches the sweet spot across the whole face without caving in or going dead over time. Up top, a 3D grooved carbon fibre weave grips the ball for heavy spin and extra dwell time. Available in Purple and Shadow.

Highlights

• PEBAZ™ dual-layer core: running-shoe-grade super-foam for lightweight bounce and insane energy return
• Dual-zone power ring: explosive outer zone, controlled inner zone for offence-defence transitions
• 3D grooved carbon fibre weave: improved spin control and dwell time to shape your shots
• Full-zone sweet spot: uniform core density keeps off-centre shots accurate and powerful
• Crush-resistant structure: won't cave in or go dead, even with heavy play
• 1-year manufacturer warranty through Luzz, handled by us

How it plays

Elongated at 16.54 inches and swinging at 122, which puts it at the more planted end of the range. That mass steadies the head through contact, so a heavy ball is less likely to push a drive off line, though a hands battle then asks more of your reactions. Luzz describe the PEBAZ core as an explosive outer power ring around a tighter inner control zone, their design claim rather than a bench test of ours. A two-density core is a recognised way to keep the outer face livelier, so a ball caught out near the frame still leaves with pace. The 3D grooved weave holds the ball longer, which lets you shape a topspin drop instead of pushing it over.

Approval status

Luzz lists the Pro 4 Tornazo as approved by UPA-A, re-approved in autumn 2025 following resubmission. UPA-A governs professional play (PPA Tour and MLP). We have not been able to confirm this model's status with USA Pickleball, which is a separate body governing amateur and club play. Approval lists change, so check the current UPA-A and USA Pickleball approved paddle lists for your exact model before sanctioned play.
