Luzz Glider 2026 Pickleball Paddle - Hybrid 16mm

• Swing weight111Higher swings heavier
• Twist weight6.4Higher forgives off-centre
• Core16mmSofter, more control

The Glider 2026 is Luzz's control-first hybrid, upgraded from the popular Glider 2024. It keeps the easy-swinging hybrid shape and soft PP honeycomb core, and adds an aerospace-grade 984-Aero™ grit face for ultra-uniform surface friction: more consistent ball contact, better wear resistance and a longer lifespan. Structural penetration technology bonds the coating into the carbon weave, expanding the sweet spot and extending dwell time for shaped, controlled placement. A forgiving Gen 3 paddle for beginner-to-improving players who build their game on dinks, drops and consistency.

Highlights

• 984-Aero™ face grit: aerospace-grade coating for uniform friction and consistent ball contact
• PP honeycomb core: soft, controlled response for dinks, drops and resets
• Deep reinforced structure: coating integrates into the carbon weave for long-term consistency
• Expanded sweet spot & extended dwell time: forgiving on off-centre hits, easier shot shaping
• Hybrid shape, swing weight 111: manoeuvrable and easy on the arm

Editions

Four editions, the same paddle underneath. The Standard is the stock Glider 2026 in black. Sugar runs a champagne-gold edge around the black face, with a sugar glider mid-leap under the logo. Swallow stays black on black and adds white swallows in flight, with the Luzz script picked out in red. The Chris Haworth edition is built for Luzz pro Chris Haworth and inspired by "Oklahoma Lightning": a purple bolt running through the black carbon, drawn from the storms back home in Oklahoma, with his signature on the face. All four share the 16mm hybrid build, the 984-Aero™ grit and the 111 swing weight. The difference is cosmetic, so choose on looks rather than feel.

Approval status

Luzz lists the Glider as approved by UPA-A, re-approved in May 2026 following resubmission. UPA-A governs professional play (PPA Tour and MLP). We have not been able to confirm this model's status with USA Pickleball, which is a separate body governing amateur and club play. Approval lists change, so check the current UPA-A and USA Pickleball approved paddle lists for your exact model before sanctioned play.
