Luzz Pro 4 Inferno Pickleball Paddle

The Pro 4 Inferno is Luzz's flagship Gen 4 power paddle, built around a revolutionary MPP (Microporous Polymer) foam core. Thousands of microporous cells boost ball speed while soaking up 90%+ of impact vibration, and the advanced foaming process produces a core (65-70 kg/m³, 1.2 MPa) that won't crush, collapse or go dead like early foam paddles. Full-area core filling expands the sweet spot right across the face, so even off-centre strikes stay fast and accurate. Available in the classic Inferno and the stealth Darkness Inferno colourways.

Highlights

• MPP microporous foam core: Gen 4 speed and control from thousands of energy-returning micro-cells
• Crush-resistant construction: advanced foaming tech resists core collapse for lasting performance
• Expanded sweet spot: full-area core filling keeps off-centre shots consistent
• 90%+ shock absorption: less arm vibration, fatigue and joint stress
• 1-year manufacturer warranty through Luzz, handled by us

How it plays

Elongated at 16.54 inches with a 5.52 inch handle, swinging at 119, so the head stays quick for a paddle this long. The length buys reach on the stretch volley, and 119 is low enough that the face is not still catching up to your hand on a speed-up. Luzz describe the MPP core as soaking up more than 90 percent of impact vibration. That is their figure rather than a bench test of ours, but a foam core at that density is why a hard block reads muted instead of tinny through the handle. Full-area core filling is what matters on the balls you do not middle: an off-centre drive keeps more of its pace than it would on a hollow honeycomb perimeter.

Approval status

Luzz lists the Pro 4 Inferno as approved by both UPA-A (re-approved 19 September 2025 following resubmission) and USA Pickleball. UPA-A governs professional play (PPA Tour and MLP); USA Pickleball is a separate body governing amateur and club play. Approval lists change, and Luzz model naming varies between listings (Pro 4 Inferno, Inferno2 M1), so check the current UPA-A and USA Pickleball approved paddle lists for your exact model before sanctioned play.
