The Aura Pro Vice is a limited-edition colourway of Friday Pickleball's stiffer, more aggressive Gen 4 foam paddle: a bold Vice colourway wrapped around the same tournament-grade platform. One run only: once it's gone, it's gone.

• Vice limited-edition finish: Friday run their metallic kits as short limited editions rather than as part of the standing lineup, so the Vice finish sits on exactly the same platform as the standard Aura Pro.
• T700 raw carbon face: the peel-ply texture grabs the ball on topspin rolls and third-shot drops, and Friday wrap it over a blow-moulded carbon frame they double-thermoform for what they describe as maximum durability. Friday's description rather than our bench test.
• Elongated 16.5 inch body: the extra length buys reach on the stretch dig and the wide put-away, and the trade is a narrower face than a widebody, so contact has to be cleaner.
• Swing weight 116 with ElasTECH perimeter weighting: enough mass behind a serve or a drive to push it deep, with the head held steadier when contact lands away from the middle.
• 5.5 inch handle on a 4.25 inch grip: room for a two-handed backhand without stacking on an overgrip.

How it plays

Where the standard Aura plays soft and forgiving, the Aura Pro plays fast and direct. The dual EPP foam core keeps Gen 4 plushness on resets and blocks, while the firmer, double-thermoformed build sends drives and serves deep with real pace. The T700 raw carbon face bites the ball for heavy spin on rolls and third-shot drops, and the patent-pending ElasTECH internal perimeter weighting steadies the head on off-centre hits. At swing weight 116, it suits players who attack from the baseline and out of the air without giving up hands at the kitchen.
