Selkirk S2 Pro Pickleballs - 12 Pack

The Selkirk S2 Pro is the new ball players have been arguing about: 38 holes, injection moulded, and built for people who lean into the fast game. Selkirk calls it the ball for ball snobs, and it means it as a compliment. This is the 12 pack: twelve balls, a season for a regular doubles four.

How it plays

Quick. Pickleball Effect's October 2026 test measured 40.00 mph of pop on a new S2 Pro and 39.60 mph used, the quickest response of the balls in that test, with 59.70 mph of power from a used ball. That's level with the Life Time LT Pro 48 and ahead of a used Franklin X-40 at 57.67 mph.

The bounce barely moved. New it measured 22.38 inches and used 22.32, so about 0.06 of an inch went in break-in, against 0.37 for the LT Pro 48. They scored bounce consistency 10 out of 10, rate its visibility excellent and say it suits hot days, when the game plays slower.

Two things worth knowing. Pickleball Effect still names the LT Pro 48 best overall, with the S2 Pro best for visibility and a quicker game, and they prefer the LT Pro 48 indoors. What Selkirk changed

• True-Round injection moulding: Selkirk says it holds its shape longer than a traditional ball.
• 38 holes in three sizes: a patented geodesic layout that Selkirk says flies straighter and spreads the stress of each hit, so cracks are less likely to start around the holes.
• A harder feel: Selkirk's words for the crisp, tournament-style response.
• Textured from the first hit: no waiting weeks for it to break in, on Selkirk's account.

Can I use it in a tournament?

The Dink reports it as the official ball of APP Asia. As at 4 November 2026 it isn't on USA Pickleball's approved ball list (we read the whole list), so check your event's rules before you use it at a sanctioned tournament.

Warranty

Six months, no-crack, on the Selkirk Asia stock we sell here. Selkirk's one-year warranty covering cracks and out of round is advertised for its US stock. If a ball cracks inside six months, email support@pickld.com.au and we'll take it up with Selkirk for you.
